Aspen's Crawford impresses in Arizona
Aspen golfer Clayton Crawford shot 72 and 77 to the win the boys' age
13 division in the recent Rocky Mountain Junior Golf Tour's
season-ending Tour Championship in Scottsdale, Ariz. He won the event,
which featured 25 juniors from seven states, by four strokes.
He followed up that effort with a third-place finish in the Western Regional “Desert Shootout” in Phoenix. The result qualifies him to compete in the Teen World Championships, which will be held at Pinehurst in North Carolina next summer.

Dear Parents and Juniors, The Aspen Junior Golf Foundation will be offering a junior golf program throughout the 2010 summer. The program is scheduled in June, July & August. Classes are approximately 1 1/2 hours long. We also offer clinics, day camps, private lessons and playing opportunities. Our main objective is to teach junior golfers the fundamentals of the golf, including proper etiquette both on and off the golf course that will last a lifetime. Golf is a lifelong game. Our Goal is to leave a lifelong impression on your junior, that includes sportsmanship, and to keep golf fun. Because we sometimes forget that golf is just a game, and games are meant to be fun! mentorship, emotional and intellectual development and the importance
of striving for excellence in both academics and sports. Our mission is
to instill and teach sportsmanship and how to set goals for themselves
both in golf and in life. We support their goals whether they are
wanting to play once a week or going on to play in college.
